Ronald Way graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Architecture with honors. While a student he was the recipient of the highest scholarship awarded by the school for academic achievement. Immediately thereafter, Way served four years on active duty as a Naval Civil Engineer Corps officer, retiring after 20 years, holding the rank of Commander USNR CEC. 

After leaving active duty in the Navy he returned to civilian life and became a Project Architect for the firm of Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall (DMJM), the third largest A&E firm in the world at the time.

Mr. Way left DMJM to form his own architectural firm, later becoming the CEO of not only his own architectural firm, but also the Managing Director of a real estate sales development and construction firm. Way’s clients included the Howard Hughes Corporation, Lawrence Welk group, General Motors, Beatrice Foods, US Postal Service and others.

Way sold his architectural business and took a year off to write a book. It was also during this period that Mr. Way wrote a piece of software to analyze the commercial viability of potential real estate investment projects. This software became the centerpiece of a new software company that he founded called, Tronsoft, Inc. The software was subsequently licensed by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) under their professional software series. ​Mr. Way traveled the US at the behest of the AIA training architects, engineers, appraisers, loan officers and developers on the use of the software and the methodology of analyzing viable real estate projects.­
TRONSOFT, INC. was headquartered in the cities of Santa Barbara, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. As it grew, it eventually added a total of twelve software programs in the fields of real estate, business, venture capital, banking and financial services. 
He sold his interest in this company in 1992. Under Way’s guidance Tronsoft, Inc. was declared the 60th fastest growing, privately held company in the US by Inc. Magazine. Tronsoft was second only to Kinkos in computer sales for Apple as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR). ​​
It was during this period of time that Way was invited by Apple Computers to serve two years as the small business representative on the Advisory Council to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Way then took the next two years to investigate the unique ability of the Network Marketing and Direct Sales Industry to market products on a one-on-one basis. He then researched what products might fit well into this gorilla marketing space. Way came up with the concept of introducing the rapidly expanding telecommunications services into the giants of the industry such as: Herbalife, Mannatech, Royal Body Care, Conklin, Wellness International, and over 100 more direct selling companies. The Fionda Group, LLC was launched. 
FIONDA GROUP OF COMPANIES

Way founded Fionda, LLC in 1995. Over the next 25 years he has continually added ancillary businesses in other related fields. 
Fionda has expanded with products all over Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Once again, Way’s company ended up on the INC 500 list of Fastest-Growing Privately Held Companies in the U.S as number 220. The Fionda Group’s products included Local and Long Distance, Internet, and VoIP services. Fionda also provided Web Design services to the Direct Selling and Network Marketing Industry, managing hundreds of thousands of Sales Representatives of over one half billion dollars, and almost one million customers; tracking them to the appropriate sales representative, then to their respective host company, and calculated commissions 8 levels deep, paying out over $100M in commissions during its operations. Fionda was a Supplier Member of the Direct Selling Association, and its President served as a member of the DSA Board of Directors.
Piggybacking on the knowledge learned in the direct sales arena, helping everyday folks design their own websites, Way founded Hooza, LLC. in 2012. Hooza was a one-stop provider of professional build-it-yourself business websites designed to serve anyone from a home-based business to a full company storefront with online eCommerce sales. Pricing, ease of use, and flexibility were the keys to Hooza’s website building tools—and are what differentiated Hooza from the competition such as Intuit, Microsoft, Wordpress, Weebly, Wix, and others. 
NON-PROFIT ACTIVITIES
Way was the founder, prime contributor, and ten-year board member of the FallenWarriors Foundation which provided housing and support to the widows and families of those men and women who gave their lives in the service of our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. 
For thirty years Way has been talking to biblical scholars, studying the historical Jesus and early Christianity. He launched a nation-wide radio show called an Eye on Faith that aired for 2 years over ABC and 40 other independent stations throughout the US and Canada. The show won the prestigious New York Festival of Arts Award as the best religious radio show in the United States, and the third best in the world. On this show he interviewed Christian, Buddhist, Taoist and Jewish scholars, as well as archeologists, spiritual and religious leaders of many faiths.

Way recently started broadcasting a religious podcast which can be seen/heard at www.authortalk.audio. Way’s interest in the historical Jesus and first century Christianity, as well as all world religions garnered a listening audience of over 100,000 people world-wide during some of his author interview podcasts.
Way served for ten years as a member of the board of directors of the Westar Institute (popularly known as the Jesus Seminar) made up of some 200 New Testament scholars from around the world. These scholars study the historical Jesus, Paul, and the beginning centuries of the Christian faith.
